#55 - NIKITA Filming at NOVA

The TV series Nikita has done a fair amount of filming over the last couple of years at the Nova Canadian site. They are currently filming another episode in and around the Nova offices.

According to Wikipedia:

Nikita is an American television drama that has aired on The CW Television Network since September 9, 2010 in the United States. Based on the French film Nikita (1990), the remake Point of No Return (1993), and a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997), the series focuses on Nikita, a woman who escaped from a secret government-funded organization known as Division and, after three-year hiding period, is back with schemes to bring down the organization.

Judging by the pictures that come up when typing ‘Nikita’ into Google Images, pretty-girls-with-guns seems to be a recurring theme. I have not seen the movies or the TV series, but it all sounds like a very rich tapestry full of dramatic depth.

Perhaps Nova can participate in the Nikita story when the nerds-with-analyzer image becomes a trendy Hollywood theme.
